About Charles Mark
Charles Mark was born in a village in the present State of Karnataka in India. He grew up in villages speaking Kannada language and did his primary, middle, and high school education in Methodist Schools in the town and cities of Yadgiri, Raichur, and Gulbarga in Karnataka State. After high school education, Charles studied at Benyon Smith Higher Secondary School in Belagavi in Karnataka State. Charles earned his bachelor’s degree in divinity (B.D (1968-1973) from Leonard Theological College in Jabalpur in the State of Madhya Pradesh, and Senate of Serampore, Calcutta, India. Charles earned his master’s degree (M.Th.) in Church History from United Theological College, Bengaluru, in Karnataka State (1974-1976).
